And 13 years of expertise can only improve your prospects of getting the quality you need.
Computer expertise is reflected in the full acquaintance with both Windows XP and Macintosh environments, including the day-to-day use of Microsoft Office 2002, FrameMaker 5.5 and Trados Freelance Edition 5.5. Various other client-supplied translation tools have also been employed towards generating translated copy.
Ricardo Dannemann was born and raised in Brazil, where he completed his B.A. in Biological Sciences (1986) and a M.Sc. in Parasitology (1993). His early education was bilingual, which was instrumental in enabling his pursuit in advanced studies of the English language later in his life. He started translating scientific papers from Portuguese into English whilst working on scientific research. His arrival in the UK in 1995 was soon followed by a job offer in translation in the Irish Republic, where he established many fruitful professional contacts. He has been working with many agencies in the UK, and direct clients in Brazil, the USA and the UK.
